Our top-of-the-line Patriot FLT18 pilot sunglasses have lenses that feature notch filtering technology for contrast, clarity, and performance that is second to none. Each lens option utilizes special thin-film coating technologies to dial in specific amounts of visible light (VLT) suited to pilot preferences and light levels for typical routes.

Lens Technology

FLT lenses by Method Seven are the first to offer notch filtering in lightweight, shatterproof lenses. The Patriot FLT18 aviator sunglasses are constructed from a durable polymer with dual high-quality coatings, FLT lenses are at the cutting edge of aviation optics, and weigh 30% less than SKY lenses. Enhanced contrast, impossible clarity, world-class performance: these are not your father's aviators. The FLT 18% (Medium) is a great choice for general and mixed conditions. Though it has a similar VLT to most other avionic sunglasses, notch filtering and world-class protection make this lens superior to others on the market.

Frame Technology

The Patriot is Method Seven's newest stealth performance frame, designed specifically for The Patriots Jet Team. Titanium alloy construction features Japanese hand tooling and seamlessly conforms to your face. Lightweight, strong, and flexible, the Patriot is headset and flight helmet compatible, offering exceptional peripheral vision in a sleek wraparound design.
